I take the privacy of my clients very seriously. I’m committed to safegaurding you and your details whilst providing a professional and personalised service. This privacy statement explains how I process your data here in clinic at Skin22.

Information Collected
Personal information collected by Skin22 is used by Skin22 only. I collect personally identifiable information about you (your "Data") through:
- The use of enquiry and registration forms on the Skin22 website
- Our online booking system
- The provision of your details to us either online or offline via registration forms, over the phone or in person

The elements of your data that I collect may include:
- Name
- Date of birth
- Address, phone number, email address
- Medical conditions & medications
- Payment details such as credit card information
- Medical history, allergies and lifestyle choices (both on the consultation form and discussed in consultation pre-treatment)
- Details of any feedback you give us by phone, email, post or via social media
This personal information is required in order to provide services to you. Without a full medical declaration I am unable to perform any services.
Use and Disclosure of Personal Information
I use your data for purposes which may include:
- Providing you with information about products and services I offer and upcoming discounts (if you agree to receive such information)
- Offering birthday treatments at a discounted rate during the month of your birthday (again, if agreed to receiving marketing information from Skin22, and also if birthday is disclosed)
- Storing consultation forms which are filled out at the start of each client’s first treatment. These files are kept in a locked cabinet at the Skin22 premises. I also use an online consultation form using the FACES platform. These files are confidentially destroyed after 6 years of the client’s last treatment with Skin22
If you wish to receive information about Skin22 services or discounts, please indicate your preferences using the consent boxes when providing us with your data on your consultation form. Please note that we will never disclose the information given in your consultation form to any other third parties, unless required to by Law, and this information is treated confidentially.
Security Policy
At Skin22 I take appropriate measures to ensure our data is protected against unauthorised use or access, change or accidental loss/damage. All documentation are stored in a locked and secured cabinet within the clinic room. Any data stored digitally is encrypted and secured with passcodes.
User Access & Control
I shall be regularly updating your medical and consent forms. If you wish to amend or change any of the data I hold or update marketing preferences you can do so by emailing me at hello@skin22.co.uk
Third Parties and Links to other Websites
My website may contain some links to third party sites, which are not subject to this privacy policy. I'm not responsible for the privacy policy of other websites and would recommend you read their privacy and cookies policies before you submit any personal data to these websites.
CCTV
There is CCTV in operation outside the property of Skin22. It is sign posted at the property. Data captured on this device is deleted every month. I have followed advice from the ICO in using CCTV and have it for the purposes of:
- Assisting in prevention of crime
- Maintaining the security of my property
Access and Purpose
Recorded materials can be viewed for the following purposes:
- The investigation of an alleged crime
- The investigation of a security incident
Any authorised viewings shall be registered in a log.
Security Measures
Covert CCTV shall never be used in or outside the property of Skin22.
I shall use all reasonable precautions to protect recorded material from misuse, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
Children Under 16
I do not treat any persons under the age of 16 and therefore do not collect information on children under 16 years of age.
Changes to this Policy
This policy is effective from August 2023. From time to time I may make changes to this privacy policy statement to reflect changes with regulations, legislation or best practice.
